Fruit Dip

This is a wonderful addition to any fruit platter. It's also my secret to fresh fruit pies. A layer of this on the bottom of a fresh strawberry pie really sets it apart. The best part is that it takes hardly any effort at all.

Fruit Dip
1 8oz package of cream cheese, room temperature
1 7oz jar of marshmallow creme
1 Tbs orange zest
A dash of ground ginger

Beat all the ingredients together. Best served chilled.

Nothing to it, but it adds so much.

Funny you should post this recipe... our YW president brought a variation of this to YW on Sunday with a fruit platter.... Um, I died and went to heaven. I could have eaten the whole bowl. By itself. She didn't use the orange zest or spice, but put almond extract instead, but yours sounds great too!

Yes! I have had several variations of this and all are good, but this is my favorite. That might be my own bias as I grew up with this one, but pretty much the cream cheese-marshmallow creme base makes for a great dip no matter what you put in it!
